Welcome back to the Introspection Selection playlist. I had a short hiatus, but have returned with another playlist of exciting new music. This month’s playlist features a wide variety of artists. In typical Introspection Selection style, there are no genre boxes. I recommend the music I like and am listening to over the month. Hopefully you find something new to add to your catalog.

New albums from Benny the Butcher, Joyner Lucas and Reason was enough to excite any hip-hop fan for the month of October. Fans were also gifted the long awaited debut album from Dej Loaf, Sell Sole II, which features everybody from Big Sean to Lil Uzi Vert.

The Gorillaz have dropped a brand new collection of songs titled Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez. It’s no surprise that it’s a great body of work that any fan of music should check out. If you don’t have time to listen to the full album, check out “The Pink Phantom” featuring Elton John and 6LACK on the playlist below.

R&B fans were not forgotten as we have a soulful selection of tracks from St. Panther, FINNEAS, and SAINt JHN. We also threw in a banger for the EDM fans and added “Juicy” from GRIZ’s new EP Banger[6].Zip.

In honor of the election of Tuesday, give a listen to Chris Webby’s “Raw Thoughts 4,” and go vote on November 3 if you feel inclined to employ your voice.

The eclectic playlist doesn’t stop there. Give it a listen below and let us know if there were any other must hear music tracks from the month of October. Check back in November for a brand new playlist with out favorite songs of the month.
